Hi! I am not sure if any of you are in the Nashville area, but I have an event taking place tonight. If you are, I would love to meet you. Come on out to the Hall of Fame Lounge! The openings for the competition are completely filled BUT there is always room in the audience!
ARTIST COMPETITION FOR CATZ RADIO
WHEN: March 21st 7 ? 10 PM
WHERE: Hall of Fame Lounge, Nashville, TN
This competition is open to singer songwriters that would like a chance to be put into regular rotations on CATZ radio. CATZ is licensed through BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC. Twenty-five individuals will have the opportunity to perform in front of music industry professionals. (see below) The top 5 scoring songs will be put into regular rotations on CATZ for thirty days in the Indie Artist Spotlight. Each song will be judged on performance, originality of lyric, and the craft.
Rules: 1) YOU MUST bring a CD with the song to the competition. How else will I play it on the radio? 2) You must be the person singing on the CD

Jonathan Sayles is Promotion Coordinator for Show Dog Nashville. Prior to working for Show Dog he was Coordinator of Marketing and Artist Development at RLG/Sony BMG Entertainment.
Rich Eckhardt is one of the most sought after guitarists in Nashville. His ability to cover multiple styles has put him on stage with singers ranging from Steven Tyler of Aerosmith to Shania Twain and Willie Nelson.

Mercedes Montgomery: Mercedes is the General Manager and a host on CATZ radio. CATZ is a licensed station that is heard world wide. Prior to working for CATZ Mercedes was the Vice President of Promotions for the American Country Radio Network. Mercedes is a comedian and entertainer. You can hear her voice not only CATZ radio but in other venues as well as she is a professional Voice Over artist. Currently she is heard on Television and Radio throughout the world in commercials, promotions, and news casts.
