RadioDaddy Forum Guidelines Last Updated: March 10, 2007 Warning. Your postings on this public forum will become public. Your text will be available to anyone with an internet connection. The basic ground rules for discussions on RadioDaddy are simple: be polite, use common sense, don't break the law and don't post any message that has copyrighted audio not belonging to you in it..We don't intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined both here and in the Forum. We reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation. If you have any questions, please e-mail the Community Leaders here If you do not understand any of the rules, guidelines or policies outlined below. Ignorance is never bliss. Suspension of your account is a definite consequence of not adhering to these guidelines. In addition to the rules posted here, members are required to read any individual forum rules which may be posted at the top of specific forums as Important threads or Announcements. The RadioDaddy administrators and moderators assume members have read them, and will not take ignorance of any rules as an excuse for not following any rules, policies, and guidelines outlined here, and in the forum specific rules. Voiceover Requests and Reputation System Rules These rules apply to all voiceover request Forum Categories. - Non-paying member allow 1 post request daily . This rule applies no matter how small the production may be.
- All members are REQUIRED to post a positive reputation comment for each request produced for them. Our voicepro's are doing this for free for you, the very least you should do is thank them.
- Multiple comments for a single request are prohibited and will result in account suspension or banishment.
- Advertising of ANY kind in the reputation system will result in banishment from the system! Please don't do this.
- Do not send a PM or email to members requesting productions unless you plan to pay for them! Members reported violating this rule will be banished from the system permanently. Request for free voiceovers should be placed in the request forums only.
- Do not PM a member to let them know you have posted a free request in the forums. Please respect our professionals, who normally do this for a living. RadioDaddy is a rare resource, it's important we not allow the generosity of our voicepro's to be abused.
General Forum Rules These rules apply to all Forum categories. - Members are permitted a maximum of one account per person, regardless of how many companies you represent. If you choose to ignore this important restriction, all your accounts will be disabled, and possibly deleted. If you have forgotten your log in details and are unable to retrieve them via the system, do not create a new account, please contact us.
- All publicly displayed messages are limited to the English language. This includes posts, titles, signatures, as well as any attachments or other forms of public display.
- You may not post commission, referral or affiliate links anywhere on the forum.
- Members may not post to instruct users to check their e-mail, check their PM, or inform them that they've got mail or a new PM, or any variant thereof.
RadioDaddy or any of it's communities does not allow membership to any anti, advocate or terrorism/terrorist groups or any group or individual supporting or helping in any way such activities or groups.Cross-Posting is not allowed here. Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts, or the linking to threads or posts they have already started. Voicepros, GraphicsPros or Staff are exempt. Participants may not solicit any external source to post on this forum regarding their company, services, or products; or any company, services, or products they are or may be associated with. Voicepros, GraphicsPros or Staff are exempt, if it pertains to the particular topic. Participants may not post on behalf of any banned member in any public manner. This includes all forums, private messages, signatures, and e-mail features. Participants may not post words or URLs that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters; or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any censors put in place by RadioDaddy. Participants may not link, in any manner, to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community. Participants may not bump threads. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, making corrections or updates in a new post, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum. Moderators will use their discretion, depending on the nature of the post, as to whether to take action or not. Participants may not use discussions to recommend, praise, or belittle other products or services, or any company; without first hand experience of those products or services. This includes companies recommending other companies. Any post not meeting a moderator's criteria will be removed without notice. We take the "Be Polite" rule very seriously! We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will be banned without warning. Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and the account disabled. Public posts debating these rules and/or moderators enforcement of such, will be removed without comment. We encourage feedback however and invite you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. If you have any questions regarding advertising, your account, or something that is wrong on RadioDaddy do not post it in the forum instead contact us and inform the Administrators.Forum Moderators are here to help in guidance as well as help enforce the terms of the board. If you have any questions whatsoever please contact the forum administrator of the forum you have a question in and let them know.Forum Specific Rules These rules apply to the Main Forum and Other Forum Categories. - Participants may not publish or discuss any information regarding their product or services, or future (possible) products or services, or any product or services they are, or have been, associated with. This includes, but not limited to suggesting your own services, or services of partners, clients, employers or friends. The Advertising Forums are for advertising and advertising in any other forum will not be tolerated, repeated offenses means you will be banner from the site. Voicepros, GraphicsPros or Staff are exempt, if it pertains to the particular topic.
- Participants may not post any messages that are commercial by nature. Voicepros, GraphicsPros or Staff are exempt, if it pertains to the particular topic.
- Further; If you SPAM our members in any manner, your account will be disabled.
These rules apply to the Advertising Forum Category: - Advertising is limited to one ad per 7 days posted in the Advertising Forums regarding your companies, sub-companies or associated companies. It will remain any companies' responsibility to schedule and maintain the offers their employees post in conforming with this important rule.
- Members are expected and required to read, and follow, the rules outlined within a category that are posted as Announcements.
- Members may not intentionally "trash" or "troll" in another user's advertisement thread.
- The 'Advertising Forums' are not a place for you to criticize or pass comment on another user's advertisement. Comments such as "You could get a better deal at.....", or "Your price is way too high for that...", or "Your voice stinks....", etc. will be removed and your account will be suspended as well you will be banned.
- Keep your posts clean. Two colors are allowed and no more. Two font styles are allowed and your font size must not be over 12 point font.
- Any attempts to defraud or deceive our members may result in your account being suspended.
- A link back to RadioDaddy is required if you post in the advertising forum. If we check your site and find that no link back has been provided your thread will be deleted without notification.
Custom User Titles and Signatures The custom user title is the text that appears underneath your member name in the posts. Signatures are attached to the end of your posts. - Signatures: Must be setup in your profile, and not manually added to your messages. May contain a maximum of two smilies. Or one animated smiley. May include only two colors. Maximum font size cannot be larger than 10 Point font. Must be kept to a maximum of three lines (at 1024 resolution). Please keep special characters to a minimum. Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent. Any signature that is offensive or insulting to either RadioDaddy, its members, or its staff, are prohibited. We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature at any time, for any reason. As of 2008 only Voice Pros, Production Pros, Graphic Pros, +Elite Members, and Staff may advertise, link, or solicite within their signature lines. This means no one else may link to a website, Paypal account, or media source.
- First offense will get a warning. Second offense: Suspension of account for no less then 30 days. Third offense: Permanent banning of your account. Depending on the severity of the offense the Staff reserves the right to Ban an account immediately without warning or edit your signature line at anytime.
- *Voice Pros may have active links in their signatures. Active link,meaning a link to your web site.
- Any links found leading to any outside source that is: *To copyrighted material *Porn or offense material *That is not your site or a site you own Your account will be suspended and or deleted.
- Opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the author. You rely on such information at your own risk. Participants are urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.
Privacy Policy: We will not release any member information unless under court order to do so. We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to remain informed of current RadioDaddy policies. If there are any rules or policies you do not understand, you may contact a Community Leader here. Finally; any abuse towards our staff and/or management or moderators in any form, may result in immediate suspension of your account as well as you being banned from the forum.
