My name is Valentina, and I am still quite new to voiceovers and recording. The biggest problem I seem to be having lately with recording, is editing out my breathing.
I use an MXL 990 microphone and even though it is much better than the regular headset I'd been using before, it still picks up my breathing... When I download other peoples dry reads, I never hear breathing in them... How is that done?

I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to share.

I just joined a few days ago and I've always been told I have a good voice...but I finally googled 'voiceover' and found this site. I'm really interested in what everyone here thinks about my voice, and if I could possibly make some side money at this. I posted an mp3 in Voicework 101, and I hope I get some good feedback.

Been here before... for years actually. Took tome off due to sickness, and can't for the life of me remember my password, or the email address I would have used. I was dudeinmaine, now I guess I'm dudefrommaine. LOL

I'm a webcaster, and as the old me got lots of assistance with some great people for my Twisted Christmas shows! Some of that stuff still amazes me!

It's gonna be fun to get back on the air again. Due to my illness I'm now disabled, no more network engineering :(

So, I'm looking for some help with a new project. At the risk of approaching a touchy topic.... As many know, some states have approved the use of some ...hmm being politically correct as I can... herbal alternatives to pharma chemicals. Anyhow... I am working on a public service site related to that. Totally non profit, more like negative profit. Rather then openly post such sensitive material publicly, I'm hoping to find a like minded sympathetic to the cause person to do a little bit of voice work. I can do post production, or you can play and have some fun... either way works!

Oh, I should introduce myself... My name is Michael Paul and I'm a professional instigator. Corporations hire me to show up at their hospitality suite and schmooze their guests. I do this with world class sleight of hand magic, mind reading, comedy, and social skills. I engage their guests, entertain them (close up and personal) and encourage them to interact with each other. I also do this for weddings, and other special events where instigation is needed!

My father is a DJ, and I think I've inhereted his great voice. Whenever I call someone, I hear "At first, I thought you were a recording!!!". I'll take this as a compliment.

I've been a member of RadioDaddy for quite a long time now, but I've never really got to the point where I've said hello to everyone here, so here goes. HI!

My name is Rasmus Jensen, born and raised in Denmark, I've worked with sound technics, stage technics etc, for a bit over 8 years now, freelance. And as well I've been a radio broadcaster on both FM band and Internet radio for about 6 years now, so I've got quite a lot experience by now, and I love what I do.

I've never got to the point where I've started to produce sound material, voice-overs, jingles, drops etc, due to I had an crazy idea that my voice wasn't any good for it, well I've made a few dry voice productions for some people and as well I've been a script reader for some live performances and such, but I wouldn't really say that's a production at all.

But now I think it's time to broaden my horizons and get started with voice productions, or just sound productions, and I really look forward to talk with all of you, and get some pointers, and maybe even start delivering some material around here :-)
